Health & Welfare Page is a work in progress - reviewing with members ideas at hand and choosing the simple updates, and looking at the difficult ones or what may be considered a pipe dream for the short term, as everything may be achieved together. TEIBAS (Toronto Electrical Industry Benefit Administration Services)

 

- The growth and development of this team has done very well under the present CEO, and the updates to member services have been substantially upgraded

- Let's continue the growth in member services

 

1. The member support services should be accessible in-house at each Office Location. 

2. Integration of the present staff to utilize the office space available at each Union Hall 

3. Reduce the Greenfootprint of the Union and the Benefit Administration 

4. Reduce the Overhead Cost of Services by not renewing the Lease at the Sheppard Office Location 

5. Support work-life Balance for the TEIBAS Staff by having an office space in one of our Union Halls closest to their Home. 

6. Set up a Union working Environment with one of our sister locals to support a collective team vs separate entities. 

 

Noting that each Funding Stream must remain managed as a separate entity for Tax Benefits, as each of our Funding streams is a Business in a sense, whether it's a not-for-profit or not, we still need to manage each area to maximize cost effectiveness for the membership.

7. Union Dues
